OF THE ACRITE EVROS
Our great-grandfather, one of the first vine growers of Evros, used to break the fresh rose and measure the sugars by the speed of the drop that ran in his hand. Today our oenologists and our team guarantee a traditional, superior quality product that can satisfy even the most demanding palates.
Wanting to maintain tradition and quality, we keep our production limited so as not to compromise at any stage of it.
The 120 acres are located outside the village of Doxa, the birthplace of our family.
OUR HISTORY
Our wine has been made for 70 years by the wine producers of the Kariofyllis family, from vines that live and breathe in the blessed soil of the bordering Evros. From grandfather Anastasis to the new generation of the family, our wine is made in the traditional way. For the village of Doxa, the Kariofyllis estate is a beloved local secret.
THE START

Our great-grandfather, one of the first winegrowers of Evros, starts wine production.

WHITE WINE
Focusing on Greek varieties, our family created a single privately owned vineyard with the white grape varieties Malagouzia and Assyrtiko. Malagouzia and Assyrtiko are ideally adapted to the microclimate of our region, giving grapes of excellent quality with which we produce our white wine with Protected Geographical Indication Evros.

Mavroudi, one of the oldest Greek varieties with a special homeland in Thrace, is cultivated in harmony with the international Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties in our single privately owned vineyard. Our Red wine is produced in limited quantity with the Protected Geographical Indication Evros.
