Malagouzia is characterized by balanced acidity, rich texture and an intense aromatic profile with notes of ripe fruit such as peach, pear and citrus as well as more subtle notes of flowers, herbs and green pepper, making it an excellent choice for pairing with other varieties such as Assyrtiko , a variety known for its excellent acidity and dense structure producing wines with depth and complexity. Assyrtiko gives wines with intense minerality and aromas of citrus, lemon and grapefruit.
